Within weeks of installing his new SenseAnywhere system, Andrew received an email alarm notification at 10pm on a Saturday evening. Andrew immediately logged into the Cloud to check up on the fridge in question - records showed air temperature had crept up to 9˚C over a number of hours. With more than £3,000 worth of stock in the fridge, Andrew immediately attended site and found the fridge was switched off! Had it remained like this all weekend, all stock would have had to be discarded – a costly mistake.
On investigation, Andrew found a junior had switched the fridge off during cleaning earlier that day. Unfortunately, it had not been switched back on and Andrew and his diligent manager had both failed to pick this up with their normal closure checks.
Because of the SenseAnywhere system Andrew managed to turn the fridge back on in time and didn't suffer from any stock losses. The small initial outlay quickly proved it's worth and paid for itself!
